What you’ll need to make this Lemon Herb Cottage Cheese Dip
The ingredient list is short for this dip that is bursting with flavor.
- reduced fat cottage cheese
- Good Culture is my favorite brand.
- olive oil
- lemon
- fresh dill
- chives
- I used dried. Keep in mind that if you are using fresh, you will need to add more as dried spices are more concentrated in flavor.
- onion powder
- garlic
- kosher salt
- fresh cracked pepper
How to make this dip
Add the cottage cheese to a blender or food processor. Emulsify until the curds are broken down and the cheese is silky smooth. Add in the olive oil, chives, onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper.
Zest and juice half of a lemon. Grate 2 cloves of garlic using a microplane.
Stir all ingredients to combine and taste for seasoning. Add more salt if desired.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

- ¼-½ tsp kosher salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp dill , fresh
- fresh cracked pepper
Instructions
- Add the cottage cheese to a blender or food processor and emulsify until the curds are broken down and the cheese is silky smooth.
- Add the olive oil, chives, onion powder, salt (start with ¼ tsp) and pepper.
- Zest and juice ½ of a lemon into the mixture.
- Grate the garlic using a microplane.
- Stir all ingredients to combine and taste for seasoning, add more salt if desired. Fold in the dill.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
